  The Spiritual Significance of Numbers

The spiritual significance of numbers is evident throughout the Word of God. It is said that, one out of every five Scriptures in the Bible contains a number. If this is so, then it is vitally important to understand God's meaning in His use of numbers throughout the scriptures.

"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred three score and six" (Revelation 13:18).

"He telleth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names, Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite" (Psalm 147:4-5).

"The very hairs of your head are all numbered" (Matthew 10:30).
